Maternal History & Infant Feeding Research
I am so glad I found this site! We are a team of two clinical psychologists working in women's health - investigating the relationship between maternal trauma history and prenatal care and infant feeding choices.
We are seeking moms of all backgrounds who have made a variety of infant feeding choices for this study. The information is below. If you have questions please e-mail me (Mylea) the Principal Investigator at or .
This is academic not-for-profit research affiliated with an APA accredited program in clinical health psychology - funded by a small fellowship grant received by the principal investigator.
Participants Sought for Study on:
The relationship between Body Image, Traumatic Stress, Prenatal Care and Infant feeding choice.
You are eligible to participate in this study if you:
• Are 18 years or older
• Have a child between the age of 6 months and 36 months old. The child can be from a single birth, the birth of twins or the birth of triplets.
• Fluent in English
Participation consists of answering survey questions about such factors as age and education, past experiences of certain traumatic events, level of prenatal care sought during your pregnancy, knowledge and attitudes about breastfeeding, and body image for approximately one hour.
NOTE: it is possible to break the survey up into two or more sessions as long as you use the SAME computer to go to the SAME link from this ad when trying to return to where you left off. However, previous moms have told us it is easier to do it all at once if you can find the time (hard with wee ones around we understand).
