Helping parents nurture healthy babies

Sippy Cups

I was visiting a friend the other day who has little ones who use Sippy Cups.  What a great invention.  I love the valve in the top, that allows them to tilt the cup, drop the cup, throw the cup and still no spills. Babies and children can learn to drink without pouring milk and juice down their clothes. They should call it the No-spill cup.  I wonder if this is the real reason that parents seems so much more fulfilled as care-givers than perhaps earlier generations were. It’s actually the sippy cup. They should call it the Happy, more fulfilled parent cup.  Think about it, if there is less laundry, less cleaning up, less frustration, less cringing and gritting your teeth because you have to clean up yet another spill, then there can be more joy. Oh, honey, it’s just a spill, not to worry, mommy will clean it up and then wait for you to accidentally spill something else all over yourself and your brother.

With juice boxes and sippy cups, children can drink in the car without spilling on the upholstery. Think about it, maybe the sippy cup is responsible for more parental happiness. The name of this site is Moms Feeding Freedom, and I think the Sippy Cup has provided all of us a lot more freedom to enjoy our children.
