Congratulations Barb!
Barb won't do it so I'll boast about her a little. You should know that Barb was recently chosen as the Nurse Practitioner of Distinction for California for 2007-2008. There are 140-thousand nurse practitioners in the U.S. with 14-thousand of them in California alone. So, as you can see, it's a big honor. She's modest, and so when I asked her how she felt about the award Barb simply said she's "humbled by the recognition." Her determination to serve her patients in a way that works for them, to recognize that everyone's situation is different, and importantly, to listen, are just some of the facets that make Barb such a terrific nurse.
Her goal is to empower women with information whether it's feeding issues, pumping, speciality formulas, sleep deprivation or other child issues. To that end, take advantage of her knowledge. Check out the "Ask the RN" button on this website and if you have a question, feel free to ask it. Barb will respond.
Again, congratulations on your award Barb. It's well-deserved!
